Hands-On EM Sample Preparation Workshop with UC Enuity

Join the Center of Nanotechnology for Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome and Leica Microsystems for a hands-on workshop exploring electron microscopy sample preparation with the UC Enuity ultramicrotome. 

Combining technical instruction, live demonstrations and practical sessions, the workshop gives you the opportunity to explore ultramicrotomy applications for Life Sciences and materials research. Work directly with UC Enuity and evaluate prepared samples using EM imaging.

What to expect

• Array tomography, volume EM, CLEM-fluorescence and cryo-FIB lamella preparation
• Block-face and cryo preparation for SEM, FIB-SEM, AFM and optical microscopy
• Diamond trimming knives

Workshop format

The workshop combines technical instruction, live demonstrations and practical sessions with UC Enuity. Attendance is limited to 25 participants.
