Cyan 500 NHS-Ester è un'etichetta fluorescente reattiva alle ammine. È stata progettata e raccomandata da Roche per l'applicazione negli strumenti LightCycler®. Il colorante viene utilizzato per etichettare gli oligonucleotidi modificati con ammine che possono essere rilevati all'eccitazione a 430 nm negli strumenti Roche LightCycler®.
Cyan 500 NHS-Ester può essere utilizzato anche come etichetta per altre biomolecole come le proteine ecc. Il colorante ha un peso molecolare di 580 g/mol ed è moderatamente idrofilo.
