Pooja promovierte in Molekularer Pharmakologie an der Universität Jena, Deutschland. Während ihrer Promotion entwickelte sie einen zellbasierten Echtzeit-Assay zur Untersuchung der Signalübertragung von GPCRs (G-Protein-gekoppelte Rezeptoren). Sie arbeitet seit 2023 als Junior Product Manager bei Leica Microsystems.
