Liz Roquemore

Dr. Liz Roquemore is a molecular cell biologist with over 25 years’ experience in development and application of genetically engineered cell lines and confocal imaging tools for research and drug discovery. Following a post doctoral fellowship at University of Bristol, UK, Liz joined GE Healthcare as an R&D leader developing and validating several first-to-market products, including GFP cell lines, the first line-scanning confocal microscope for high content screening, and the first commercial Human stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes. Liz’s work has been published in top journals and is widely cited in scientific literature. She has also authored 2 image analysis patents and an award-winning poster on quality metrics for cell imaging assays. Liz obtained her PhD from the Johns Hopkins University, USA.
