Nicol Ecke , Dr.
Nicol studied Geosciences in Bonn. Afterwards she did her PhD thesis in collaboration with the University of Bonn and the Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg, Russia. Since 2004 Nicol has been a member of the European Application Team for Industry at Leica Microsystems. In addition to microscopy and polarization microscopy, she is also a specialist in automated microscope systems and image analysis, especially for cleanliness analysis and steel inclusion rating. In 2008 Nicol became leader of the Application Team for Industry in Germany and is always happy to help customers with their application questions. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and in the countryside.
