Speaker: Dr. Nicol Ecke
Nicol studied Geosciences in Bonn. Afterwards she did her PhD thesis in collaboration with the University of Bonn and the Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg, Russia. Since 2004 Nicol has been a member of the European Application Team for Industry at Leica Microsystems & is now the Team Leader of the German team. Nicol is an expert in automated microscope systems and image analysis, especially cleanliness analysis and steel inclusion rating.
