Dr. Till Gnann
Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research
Till Gnann studied industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and at the Politecnico di Milano, Italy. He gained experience abroad in Santa Clara, CA. Since April 2011, Till has been working at the Competence Centre Energy Technology and Energy Systems. In July 2015, he completed his PhD at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) on the market diffusion of plug-in electric vehicles and their charging infrastructure.
In 2016, he spent a research semester at Argonne National Lab (Chicago, IL), Oak Ridge National Lab (Knoxville, TN) and the US Department of Energy (Washington, DC) to work on the international market diffusion of plug-in electric vehicles. Since April 2020, Till Gnann has been coordinating the cross-cutting topic of electromobility at Fraunhofer ISI.

Dr. Konstantin Kartaschew
Konstantin Kartaschew is an Advanced Workflow Specialist at Leica Microsystems.
He holds a PhD in physical chemistry from the Ruhr University Bochum (Germany), with a focus on micro-spectroscopic analysis. After his PhD he broadened his experience, as a product specialist for spectroscopy within several molecular and elemental spectroscopy (e.g. atomic emission and X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy) methods. In 2019 he joined Leica Microsystems as a specialist in LIBS (Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) and further specific compound microscopy applications.
Konstantin’s role give him the opportunity to exchange with customers in different industries. Learning about their challenges and offering them practical advice gives him great job satisfaction.
