Leica Microsystems and Leica Biosystems hosted Biotech Social in Cambridge, MA— heart of the biotech cluster on October 8, 2025. The event brought together researchers, scientists, and industry professionals from across the region to explore how advanced imaging and spatial biology technologies are accelerating drug discovery.
The evening highlighted Leica Microsystems’ latest solutions designed to empower translational research. Attendees were introduced to SpectraPlex, 3D high-multiplex imaging solution in spatial biology that provides a streamlined workflow to simplify panel creation, automate acquisition settings, and acquire data through advanced unmixing algorithms . Also featured was Aivia, Leica Microsystems’ AI-powered image analysis software, which is transforming how researchers interpret complex biological data.
