Fluorescence Quenchers

ATTO-TEC offers a series of new quenching labels. They are designed to be used as efficient energy acceptors in FRET (Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) applications.

ATTO-TEC fluorescence quenchers are available as NHS-ester and maleimide to be coupled to amino and mercapto groups of proteins etc. In addition conjugates of biotin, phalloidin and streptavidin are provided.

Their characteristic properties are:

• strong absorption (high extinction coefficient)
• high photo-stability
