Norbert Kemnitzer

Norbert studied chemistry at the University of Siegen, where he also earned his PhD with a focus on fluorescent dyes. He joined ATTO‑TEC in 2001 and has since been closely involved in the development and production of innovative, patented fluorophores for life science applications. For over a decade, he has additionally contributed to quality management activities. Following ATTO‑TEC’s acquisition by Leica Microsystems at the end of 2024, Norbert assumed expanded responsibilities in quality management while continuing his work in dye development.
