ATTO 584H is a fluorescent marker from the class of rhodamines. As ahydrophilic alternative to ATTO Rho101, the dye shows very good water solubility and a significantly reduced tendency to non-specific binding. ATTO 584H possesses strong absorption, a very high fluorescence quantum yield, and high thermal and photochemical stability. The dye is therefore ideal for use in single-molecule detection and high-resolution microscopy (SIM, STED, etc.). ATTO 576H is an anionic dye. After coupling to a substrate, it is singly negatively charged. Efficient fluorescence excitation occurs in the 570–600 nm range.
