ATTO 614H s a dye belonging to the class of rhodamines. Designed as a hydrophilic alternative to ATTO Rho14, the characteristic properties of the fluorophore include strong absorption and a very high fluorescence quantum yield. In addition to its very high thermal and photochemical stability, the dye shows very good pH stability in the pH range of 2 - 11. ATTO 614H is therefore particularly suitable for single molecule detection and for high-resolution microscopy (SIM, STED, etc.). The dye is very hydrophilic and the fluorescence efficiency is only slightly reduced after coupling to biomolecules, e.g. proteins, even at higher degrees of labeling (DOL). ATTO 614H is an anionic dye. After coupling to a substrate, the dye carries a net electrical charge of -2. Efficient excitation of fluorescence occurs in the 595 - 625 nm range.

Designed as a hydrophilic alternative to ATTO Rho14, the fluorophore's characteristic properties include strong absorption and a very high fluorescence quantum yield. In addition to its very high thermal and photochemical stability, the dye exhibits excellent pH stability in the pH range of 2–11. The dye is very hydrophilic, and its fluorescence efficiency is only slightly reduced after coupling to biomolecules, such as proteins, even at higher degrees of labeling (DOL). ATTO 614H is an anionic dye. After coupling to a substrate, it is doubly negatively charged. Efficient fluorescence excitation occurs in the 595–625 nm range.
