Paolo Astengo

Paolo Astengo is the founder and CEO of Astel, established in 1994, and its semiconductor division, Semisyn. With a career rooted in high-level engineering, he previously served for eight years as a Senior HW & FW Designer at Olivetti, where he specialized in the design of inkjet printers, scanners, and servers. A graduate with a degree in medicine with a focus on medical engineering, Paolo Astengo brings a distinctive scientific rigor to the electronics industry. Today, he leads the Astel - Semisyn group, coordinating corporate strategy and technical innovation, with a particular focus on advanced wafer handling and inspection systems for the global semiconductor market.
