Mike Tjepkema, Regional Sales Manager – Northeast

Mike joined the Northeast team as regional sales manager in early 2024 after many years of successful sales experience in multiple industries. His experience in small business leadership, sales team management, and most importantly, helping customers in the microscopy market, means he is a valuable resource for both team members and customers. Mike’s focus on helping scientists achieve their goals through unique, tailored solutions is a perfect fit for the expanding Leica solutions portfolio for organoid and spatial biology research applications. With growth forecasted for biopharma and academia, Mike and his team are excited to grow with the Boston scientific community.  

Daniel Tom, Advanced Workflow Specialist and Imaging Facility Lead

Daniel Tom is a Light Microscopy Imaging Professional with a passion for empowering customers through advanced imaging solutions. With deep expertise in a wide range of microscopy systems, application methods, and image analysis workflows, Daniel is known for building strong, collaborative relationships that drive scientific and operational success. Currently serving as an Advanced Workflow Specialist at Leica Microsystems, he partners with researchers to optimize confocal imaging workflows across diverse scientific applications. Previously, he led the Advanced Light Microscopy Core at Harvard Medical School, where he expanded services and significantly increased user engagement through strategic leadership and technical mentorship.

Dave Warrington, Regional Sales Manager – Northwest

Dave joined Leica Microsystems and the Danaher family of companies in 2023 and has led the Northwest sales and applications support team since 2024. He is passionate about exploring new opportunities for strategic partnership and helping customers and teammates alike navigate and overcome complex business and operational challenges to accelerate the time to impact through their work. Prior to joining Leica Microsystems, Dave served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps. Dave holds an MBA and M.A. in International Studies from The Wharton School and Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Classics and Philosophy from Georgetown University.

Jeremy Carver, Key Account Manager

Jeremy Carver is a Key Account Manager for Leica Microsystems’ major accounts in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Stanford, UCSF, and the top Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical accounts in the region. With a long-term vision and mindset, Jeremy has developed a very loyal customer base in his 20+ years selling to and supporting his customers in the Bay Area life science research microscopy market. Jeremy is a strategic thinker who is always looking for ways to better serve and support his customers through partnerships and collaborations. From conception to completion, Jeremy took the lead on the opening of the Leica Imaging Center in South San Francisco, a first of its kind facility for hosting product demonstrations and workshops.
