Alex Alfieri

Prof. Alfieri is a renowned neurosurgeon specialized in neurosurgery and spinal surgery with extensive experience in minimally invasive techniques.
He currently practices at the Cantonal Hospital in Winterthur, as well as in the Hirslanden AndreasKlinik Cham Zug, and Klinik St. Anna Luzern, Switzerland. His expertise spans complex spinal surgery, cranial and microneurosurgery, endoscopic procedures, neuromodulation, and intraoperative 3D imaging with neuronavigation.

Prof. Alfieri’s academic background includes a medical degree and neurosurgery specialization from the University of Verona, a habilitation at Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, and professorships at the Medical School Brandenburg and Università della Svizzera italiana. He has held leadership roles in major European hospitals and is actively involved in research and teaching.
He is a member of leading professional societies,  including  several European and American neurosurgical associations.
