Taryn Guinan

Taryn Guinan joined Leica Microsystems in 2018, where she leverages her technical expertise to support a range of imaging solutions, including advanced widefield, confocal, super-resolution, light-sheet microscopy, and image analysis. Taryn earned her PhD in Engineering (Materials and Analytical Chemistry) from the University of South Australia in 2015. Her doctoral research focused on creating nanostructured porous silicon platforms for mass spectrometry aimed at biomolecule detection and imaging. As a postdoctoral researcher at Monash University, she developed cutting-edge mass spectrometry imaging technologies for detecting drugs, lipids, and various other analytes.
