University of California, Irvine (UCI), Department of Chemistry, USA

The UCI Department of Chemistry provides a first-class environment for graduate research. Strong overlaps exist among the traditional subdisciplines of chemistry organic, inorganic, biological, physical, and analytical and cutting edge research is occurring at the interface between chemistry and engineering, environmental, and biological sciences. Interactions between Department of Chemistry faculty, collaborations with researchers throughout the UCI campus, as well as strong extramural ties to corporate and government laboratories, provide students with opportunities to interact with scientists from a broad range of backgrounds and interests
