The award-winning remote device monitoring service from Leica Microsystems, RemoteCare, enables us to proactively monitor your instruments’ performance and detect issues before they result in compromising uptime. Should an on-site visit be required, RemoteCare enables our service team to analyze historical and current instrument readings to help ensure we arrive on-site with the right tools and parts to fix the issue quickly during the first visit.
Proactive service approach
In the event an issue is detected, automatic alerts are sent to Leica’s technical support team allowing us to investigate the issue and proactively contact you to take steps to minimize instrument downtime. By continuously monitoring critical temperatures, laser performance, and other data elements in your system, we aim to minimize potential failures. To further improve device performance, the latest software updates will be deployed as they become available.
Leica’s complete line of confocal microscopes are shipped preconfigured with a software agent that can be activated, with your permission, to enable RemoteCare. Once enabled, the software agent runs in the background collecting key diagnostic information and automatically identifies potential issues to ensure best performance and uptime.
